- Special wheel construction: backplate 3/8" thick "AR" steel, blades
7/16" thick Cladded Wear Plate.
- Special housing construction: 7/16" thick Cladded Wear Plate. Inlet collar and
drive sideplate liner are "T1" steel.
- The Cladded Wear Plate material used in the fabrication of the wheel and housing
consists of 3/16" thick Chrome Carbide overlay on 1/4" thick mild steel. This
provides a high quality hardfacing surface for use in heavily abrasive applications. It is
advertised to last five times longer then "AR360" steel.

| APPLICATION: |
- Used as a waste conveying fan in a textile mill. The first part of the operation is to
receive raw bales of cotton. The bales are cleaned and processed. The waste from the
cotton (sand, dirt, twigs) drops into the fan and is conveyed away. this fan replaces a
unit constructed of "AR" steel that was wearing out in about nine months.
